My Sweetest Girl,

You are about 3 weeks away from coming into this world, and your Daddy and I are so excited to meet you.  I just want you to be able to see how much you mean to us already!

I knew when I didn't get my monthly visitor that I was pregnant.  We got two pregnancies tests and both were positive (though slightly hard to read.)  I went to a women's clinic and she confirmed what we already knew, that we were having you!

You should have seen the smile on Daddy's face when we found out for sure.  He has been so happy and so excited the entire process.  He loved you from day one.  I loved you too, but I was a little bit more scared than Daddy was.  I just want to be the best Mommy that I can be.

In the first trimester, you made me sick if I didn't eat enough or if I ate too much (or if I ate pancakes, I'm not sure why.)  I was worried that being pregnant with you was going to be a big trial.

However as soon as 13 weeks hit, gone was the nausea, and when I started seeing my belly poke out, we were really excited!  Daddy would stare, making me a little uncomfortable.
I then started to feel movements (that pretty much felt like gas) and when you kicked me hard for the first time, I screamed because you scared me so much.

We also got to see your face for the first time at 16 weeks!  You looked like you were coming in for a pick, but we were in love the moment we saw you in black and white.  You were just a little too small for us to see if you were a boy or a girl, so we had to wait 4 more weeks!

Daddy swore you were going to be a boy, and I was betting girl (I think this is when Daddy realized Mommy is always right).  Luckily your cousin Daisy lent you some of her old clothes and things, so we saved a lot!  Though we got to see you were a girl, you insisted on hiding that beautiful face for a couple months.

Now we are 37 weeks along and you are just the wiggly worm.  Daddy swears you are going to be a soccer player.  (I guess we will just have to wait and see!)
We got to see you yesterday on the ultrasound and you had your whole hand in your mouth, just sucking away on those fingers!  When you finally let go of them, you had the cutest duck lips puckered up in a kiss!

Now we are just waiting to see and hold you for the first time.
We Love you so much and we will see you soon! XXOO
Love,
Mommy and Daddy
